Thank you for choosing timewise. This article will guide you through your initial setup phase. We have provided links in the various sections below that will provide additional information on how to setup those specific items. We have provided the steps below in the order in which you should configure those items.

  1. Starting from your Dashboard click on the setting button under the Manage you system box.  See image below.
  2. Start with setting up Locations.  Click on the Locations tab on the left pane.  Then click the Create new button on the bottom left.  See images below.  This will be where you find the Create New button for each screen throughout the set up process.
  3. Setting up Waivers.  If using waivers for any services you want to set up the waivers first.  This will allow you to link the waiver to a service or class when setting up the service or class.
  4. Setting up Services.  This step will allow you to add the services you offer and/or perform.  
    1. Choose if you want customers to book online.  
    2. Requires Locations set up first.  
    3. Recommend setting up waivers before this step if applicable. 
  5. Setting up Classes.  This step will allow you to add the Classes you offer and/or perform.

  6. Setting up Rooms.  Create rooms for services or classes to be performed.
    1. Requires Location and Classes or Services set up first.
  7. Setting up Staff.  If you have more than one location verify staff member is enabled to correct location.  Staff member can be enabled to more than one location.  Select services offered by this staff member.

    2. Recommend setting up services offered first.
  8. Set up Staff Work Schedule.  This step is set up by location.  From you dashboard select a location and select schedule.  See image below.  Schedules can be set up by individual day or a recurring schedule.

    2. Requires Services Offered set up for the Staff member.
  9. Setting up Products.  This is for if you sell Products to the customers. 
    1. This will allow you to manage stock if you choose. 
    2. Images can be uploaded. 
    3. Requires Locations to be set up first.




Additional Items available to set up


  1. Memberships 
    1. Memberships require your customers to pay a recurring fee that entitles them to specific benefits. For each membership, you can indicate the benefits that you want to offer. For example, a membership can give a 10% discount on the original cost of a specific service such as haircutting. 
  2. Packages 
    1. Create the following types of packages:
      • Bundle packages
      • Credit packages
  3. Discounts 
    1. In Timewise, the discounts feature allows you to:
      • Offer discounts based on the booking date or several events such as a customer's birthday or anniversary.
      • Specify the services, packages, classes, membership plans, and products to which Timewise applies a discount
      • Customize the number of times customers can use a code
      • Specify that the discount is valid only if customers book a service within a specified set of dates
      • Indicate whether customers can use a discount with other discounts or not.
  4. Rewards 
    1. The rewards feature allows you to set up a loyalty program that rewards your customers with loyalty points they can redeem. You can customize the number of points customers earn for each action or purchase and specify different values for members and non-members. For example, members can earn 100 points for booking an appointment online, and non-members can earn 20 points.
